Senior Investigator
Li Fellers, AWI-CH, is a licensed private investigator with over a decade of experience conducting workplace and Title IX investigations. She investigates wide-ranging matters for public-sector employers, private companies, and their attorneys, including sexual harassment, racial bias, retaliation, bullying, conflicts of interest, improper influence by public officials, whistleblower, workplace violence, and improper relationships. Working with plaintiffs’ counsel, Fellers has conducted numerous civil and criminal investigations involving such issues as sexual assault, personal injury, jury misconduct, and discrimination.
Fellers conducts Title IX investigations related to complaints of student and faculty sexual misconduct at public universities and private colleges, including sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. She has received extensive training from T9 Mastered and ATIXA on trauma-informed and other interviewing techniques and remains informed about changes to Title IX regulations and employment law.
Previously, Fellers was an investigative field producer for the ABC news programs 20/20 and Primetime. In this role, she orchestrated complex investigations involving such topics as institutional abuse of the developmentally disabled, the spread of heroin addiction among small-town youth, and clergy abuse of minors. She also was a reporter for the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times.

- Investigated allegations that a university student’s political speech rights were suppressed by university employees.
- Investigated allegations that a high-level university HR administrator had ignored and dismissed complaints by staff against another high-level administrator because they were in a romantic relationship.
- Investigated allegations that a university student was drugged and raped at a fraternity party.
- Investigated allegations that a police officer was retaliated against for seeking to investigate a fellow officer for dishonest conduct.
- Conducted criminal defense investigations for cases involving murder, assault, and robbery, and as a death penalty mitigation investigator.
