Christina Dalton
Senior Investigator
Christina Dalton is an attorney with extensive experience conducting workplace investigations into allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation for governmental entities and private-sector employers. She regularly pursues specialized training in Title IX investigations and conducts investigations for colleges and universities of student complaints of sexual assault and dating violence. Dalton has worked on numerous large-scale investigative projects, such as monitoring the treatment of disabled inmates in Orange County jails.
Earlier in her career, Dalton practiced civil rights and criminal law with the San Francisco office of J. Tony Serra. She spent a year as a daily live legal commentator throughout E! Entertainment Television’s gavel-to-gavel coverage of the O.J. Simpson homicide trial. Dalton spent seven years as a staff editor with the Los Angeles Times and served as an assigning section editor at the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine. Dalton speaks and writes French fluently.

Career Highlights
- Conducted public corruption investigation for a municipal government into improprieties in contract awards to third-party vendors; presented findings to city management.
- Retained by the Board of an HMO to investigate allegations of bullying and protected-category-based misconduct by its Chief Executive; presented findings to governing Board.
- Investigated numerous sexual assault cases in Title IX proceedings for colleges and universities, making findings of fact, credibility assessments, and conclusions, and appearing at related administrative hearings.
- Retained to investigate denial of accommodations and other violations of Americans with Disabilities Act mandates at postsecondary institutions and public entities.
- Conducted investigations of racial discrimination under Title II public accommodation laws at a national food service franchise subject to a Federal District Court-supervised monitoring agreement.
- Investigated systemic allegations of gender-based hostile environment harassment and disparate treatment over more than a decade at a large public entity.
